Southern Cross Station

In a joint venture with Queensland company, Unison Design and Constructions P/L, Barden-Steeldeck Industries were contracted by Leighton Contractors to provide the roofing to the Iconic award winning Southern Cross Station, formally known as Spencer Street Station.

GIPPSLAND WATER FACTORY

Contracted by Kane Constructions, Barden-Steeldeck Industries P/L completed this Interpretive Centre, called the Vortex, which will form part of Gippsland Water's education programme on water conservation and resource management

Barden-Steeldeck Industries distinguished itself with the supply and installation of the unique Kalzip standing seam Aluminium Roofing on the Southern Cross Station and subsequent specialist projects such as the Tarago Water Treatment Plant for Melbourne Water and the Educational Centre of Gippsland Water.

Level Crossing Projects

Since the involvement and completion of Victoria’s largest single rail project, Southern Cross Station, Barden-Steeldeck Industries has been the leading roofing contractor in working with various Joint Venture Partners for the majority of Level Crossing Removals as part of the Victorian Government’s program.
